Ash Wednesday Worship Service

Ash Wednesday begins the Lenten season, marked by repentance, fasting, reflection, and ultimately the celebration of salvation. The 40-days of Lent reflect Christ’s time of temptation in the wilderness, where He fasted and when Satan tempted Him.

"For dust you are, and to dust you shall return." Genesis 3:19. These words are spoken as a sign of the cross is traced on the forehead. This act is a gesture of repentance and a powerful reminder of our need for cleansing and purifying.

For your convenience, ashes will be offered at Crown of Life during the following time slots:

8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
7:00 p.m. Worship Service
