• LCMS World Mission is proud to announce that newly-enhanced children's Web pages are now available at: lcmsworldmission.org/children.
  The updated site helps you to browse children's mission education resources by category. Some of the categories include:

• Palmer's Fun Favorites - coloring pages, games, recipes

• Galleries and Catalogs - pictures from the mission field, maps, a children's resource catalog

• Involvement Ideas for Children - Sparkler mission projects, children's giving calendars, ideas for involving kids in God's mission.

You can also download Mission Friends, a children's mission newsletter, and corresponding passport stamps for free from the children's Web site.

LCMS World Mission also provides all the information and resources for the Sparkler mission projects - mission projects uniquely designed for children - free for download on the children's Web site. Last year, the children of the L.C.M.S. raised almost $75,000 in support of three mission projects through the Sparklers program.

The three mission projects for the 2008-2009 school year are:

• Help Children in Cambodia, China and Thailand
• Building Schools in India
• Help Teach Russian Children about Jesus

• We will continue collecting Campbell Soup and other labels for Lutheran Special Education. These labels help this organization provide much needed classroom or playground supplies for special needs children in the Lutheran education ministries. Bring your labels to church; a sheet listing accepted labels is on top of the collection drawers in the narthex.
  AND: Recently the collection requirements have changed; please bring in the entire label from any product that you collect labels from.
